Yoncalla is home to the Eagles, an OSAA designated 2A district.  The High school, grades 9 thru 12, is located on 5th Street as is the District #32 Office. 

The elementary/middle school (grades K-8) is located on First Street. 

A private pre-school is held at the United Methodist Church on Birch and Main. 

Umpqua Community College is just 25 minutes south and Eugene, 45 miles north, is home to University of Oregon and Lane Community College.
